Terms of Service

By using this website or requesting an appointment, you agree to the terms below.

Appointments

  • Submitting a form is an appointment request. Your appointment is not confirmed until Gotham’s Finest Services contacts you.
  • Service is subject to identity verification and document eligibility.
  • All appointments are mobile or online. There is no public walk-in office.
  • Travel availability and fees depend on the appointment location, distance, parking, tolls, and timing.
  • Facility appointments depend on facility rules, access approval, scheduling, and possible waiting time.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide a current, acceptable government-issued photo identification for each signer.
  • Bring a complete document, unsigned until the notary gives instructions.
  • Have all required signers present, and required witnesses unless confirmed beforehand.
  • Be able to communicate directly with the notary and understand the document.
  • Provide accurate appointment information, including the correct address or facility.

Limits of service

Gotham's Finest Services is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. A notary public cannot select documents, prepare legal documents, explain legal rights, or advise customers about the legal effect of a document. Please contact a licensed attorney for legal advice.

  • The notary may decline a notarization when legal requirements cannot be satisfied.
  • Remote online notarization is available only for eligible transactions and depends on the document, identification, technology, location, and applicable law.
  • Information on this website does not guarantee that a document can be notarized.
  • We do not guarantee that a receiving party, agency, or institution will accept a notarized document.

Fees, liability, and governing law

Notarial fees regulated by New York law are quoted separately from travel, convenience, parking, toll, printing, witness, waiting-time, and after-hours charges. You receive a complete quote before your appointment is confirmed.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees paid for the appointment in question. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
